Overview

A hands-on learning facility designed to support hardware and software upskilling for AC labs. It enables practical training in areas such as Bayesian optimization, workflow orchestration, and automated sample transfer.

Vision

The AC's Training Lab is a remotely accessible facility that advances the development and adoption of self-driving laboratories (SDLs). It includes educational and research-grade hardware such as liquid handlers, solid dispensers, Cartesian-axis systems, mobile robotic arms, and integrated synthesis and characterization modules.

Supported by the AC Training Lab GitHub repository as a reference for autonomous lab design, the Training Lab serves as a shared environment for building, testing, and training on autonomous laboratory systems so that researchers can gain hands-on experience with real-world SDLs.
