Owen Melville

Owen Melville is a Staff Scientist in the Polymer SDL at the Acceleration Consortium. He completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa in 2020, after which he joined a startup, Amber Molecular, in Toronto, Canada. During these roles, Owen focused on developing thin-film electronics with organic dyes, including silicon and boron phthalocyanines.  He now focuses on developing self-driving workflows to accelerate polymer research using automation, process engineering, and data science.
