Mark A. Reed

Dr Reed is a medicinal chemist and expert in CNS drug discovery with over 20 years of experience in academia, biotech start-ups, US biotechnology and large pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Reed is a co-founder of Treventis Corporation who recently partnered their lead tau program with Takeda. Dr Reed is Director of UHN Therapeutics  and Scientist a the Krembil Brain Institute and holds the position of Assistant Professor in both the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology and Department of Chemistry at the University of Toronto. He is an editor of the journal Synfacts, Thieme, and has over 50 patents and publications in the areas of organic and medicinal chemistry, neurodegeneration, Inflammation and oncology.
