Harrison Mills

Harrison completed his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at UC Los Angeles in the research lab of Alexander Spokoyny. Throughout his PhD, he studied the synthesis of boron cluster chalcogenides and their applications in self-assembled materials. In addition to his research, he also participated in the executive committee and served as chair for the University of California Chemical Symposium, a UC-wide graduate student-led conference. Harrison then joined the lab of Dwight Seferos at the University of Toronto as a "CPE Rising Stars in Clean Energy" Postdoctoral Fellow where he studied sequence-defined conjugated oligomers as well high performance membrane materials for use in CO2 electrolyzers. During his time at U of T, he has also served roles on the Working Towards Inclusivity in Chemistry - Toronto (WICTO) executive committee and the high-quality personnel committee of CANSTOREnergy.
