Florian Shkurti

Florian Shkurti is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where he directs the Robot Vision and Learning lab. He is a faculty member of the University of Toronto's Robotics Institute, a Faculty Affiliate at Vector Institute, and a fellow of the NSERC Canadian Robotics Network (NCRN). He conducts research spanning autonomous mobile robotics, machine learning, computer vision, and control. He is the recipient of the Alexander Graham Bell Doctoral Award, the AAAI Robotics Fellowship, the Coxeter Scholarship in Mathematics, the Amazon Research Award in Robotics, and the Connaught Early Researcher Award.
