Delphine Bouilly

About

Delphine Bouilly earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the Université de Montréal in 2013 before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University, in New York City. Bouilly earned many awards and scholarships over the course of her studies, including the prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, awarded to the most qualified postdoctoral fellows with a highly promising research potential.

Bouilly and her team assemble ultra-miniature electronic circuits and sensors to explore the dynamics of the interactions between biological molecules (DNA and proteins) or the fluctuations within a single molecule. The goal is to develop new tools to identify biomarkers associated with various types of cancer and to improve our understanding of the mechanics of basic macromolecules.
