Corey Allen

Corey is an award-winning communicator with extensive experience in higher education communications and marketing, having worked in multiple roles at the three largest universities in Canada (U of T, UBC, and York).

As associate director of marketing and communications for the Acceleration Consortium, Corey works to advance the initiative’s reach, reputation, and impact through people- and purpose-driven approaches.

Prior to joining the Acceleration Consortium, Corey most recently served as senior communications advisor for the President’s Advisory Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability (CECCS) at U of T.  

He was a first-generation student and holds a master’s degree in communication and new media from McMaster University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
