MAP for gold nanoclusters

Application Areas

About

The widespread application of nanomaterials including nanoparticles, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes and nanostructured polymers is severely limited by one fact: all of these materials are prepared and employed as polydisperse heterogenous mixtures, despite the precise and fundamental relationship between the sizes of nanomaterials and their properties. This MAP is equipped to autonomously synthesize nanomaterials at high molecular precision, analyse their performance, determine structure-property relationships, and use this information to further optimize synthetic conditions. The equipment for this MAP is provided by Kinova, North Robotics, Universal Robots, and Agilent Technologies.
