Bio

Prof. Tejs Vegge has been an innovator of clean energy materials for more than 20 years. He heads the section for Autonomous Materials Discovery at the Technical University of Denmark, where his team is working on accelerating the clean energy materials discovery and innovation process. Prof. Vegge is an internationally leading expert in the field of advanced battery materials and next-generation clean energy storage solutions, and an elected member of the Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV) and the Danish Government’s Commission on green transportation. He has published more than 175 papers in the field of computational design of advanced battery materials and next-generation clean energy storage solutions, and he participates in a number of leading international consortia, e.g., as coordinator of the Battery Interface Genome – Materials Acceleration Platform (BIG-MAP) project in BATTERY 2030+.
