As the Lab Manager for the Acceleration Consortium, Rachel will be organizing procurement of equipment and supplies, working with Environmental Health and Safety, and supporting building management. Rachel received her BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Wilfrid Laurier University and her M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Toronto. Her research focused on biocompatible polymer-modified nanoparticles and their interactions with cancer cells. In addition to her interests in research, Rachel is an avid baseball fan and enjoys taking in many Toronto Blue Jays games each summer.
