Martin Seifrid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University. His group develops self-driving laboratories – automated experiments guided by machine learning – and leverages them to design precisely controlled organic mixed ionic-electronic conducting materials with applications in sensing, energy storage, healthcare, and neuromorphic computing. Martin received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
