Bio

Knowledge Mobilization Lead Kate Einarson (she/her) has over 15 years of experience translating complex research into real-world impact. She comes to the Acceleration Consortium after a decade focussed on the co-production and dissemination of healthcare research, and on the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practice change.

A behavioural scientist by training, Kate earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University. In addition to postdoctoral fellowships at University of Toronto and CAMH, she has completed both the Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate from University of Toronto, and the Beakerhead Science Communication residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts.

An award-winning speaker and teacher who loves building relationships across disciplines and bridging “know-do” gaps, Kate is also a dog lover who can often be found exploring Toronto's parks and ravines.
