As a staff scientist at the Acceleration Consortium, Ekaterina’s research is focused on automation. She gained extensive experience studying digitization and automation of organic synthesis and the development of new functionalities for an automated platform as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, UK. She holds a Ph.D. in Organic chemistry from Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, Russia. In addition to automation research, she is interested in the synthesis and investigation of properties of calixarene derivatives, liquid membrane transport of metal cations, macrocyclic crown-ether ionophores at the air-water interphase and at ultrathin films.
