Bio

David Kim is a lab technician working in the AC's medicinal chemistry self-driving lab. He is involved in development of methods to automate the affinity selection mass spectrometry (AS-MS) and all pertinent protocols. Prior to Acceleration Consortium, he has received BSc. and MSc. at University of Waterloo and worked on a research project involving phage display to determine and characterize peptides that exhibit affinity towards polymeric materials. David then transitioned into mass spectrometry-based proteomics at Cellcarta in Montreal where he focused on method development, sample analysis and maintenance via liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry (LC-MS) instruments.
