Electrocatalysis MAP

This MAP represents the first stage of developing an electrochemical-based platform to address issues related to green energy. Initially, this MAP focuses on electrodeposited catalyst materials for alkaline and acidic oxygen evolution reaction (OER). This includes the infrastructure for liquid handling, substrate handling, electrodeposition, and electrochemical characterization. Further developments on the platform will focus in the areas of CO2 reduction & CO2 capture as we start to expand capabilities into that space. The lab equipment is supplied by North Robotics, with custom components from NRC & NRCan.
