

Suzan Farhang-Sardroodi is a Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto. She received her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Zanjan in Iran and completed an exchange semester in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. She pursued postdoctoral research in quantitative oncology at the Biomathematics and Fluids Group at Toronto Metropolitan University, and in computational immunology at the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics at York University, the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Manitoba), and Université de Montréal (Montréal, Québec, Canada). Her current research includes pharmacokinetics and psychiatric genetics to investigate concurrent psychiatric disorders. She is advancing research through interdisciplinary approaches in systems pharmacology and toxicology, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to support translational science in mental health and the development of precision medicine.
