Amin Morteza Najjariyan

Amin is a Staff Scientist in the Inorganic SDL at the Acceleration Consortium. He completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. McCreery at the University of Alberta, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship and team leadership role in the Sargent group at the University of Toronto. His background spans a broad range of nanotechnology and materials science, including molecular electronics, compound semiconductors, and ultrafast optoelectronics. Amin's research has supported the development of industry-relevant technologies, including 3D remote sensing beyond human vision, next-generation photovoltaics, and advanced electrocatalysis. At the Acceleration Consortium, his mission is to push the boundaries of materials discovery by integrating robotics, incorporating emerging technologies, and leveraging artificial intelligence to unlock new scientific frontiers.
